Ed Jovanovski had a goal and an assist Wednesday night as the Vancouver Canucks beat Minnesota, 2-1.

Jarkko Ruutu scored the eventual game-winner as Vancouver remained undefeated at home so far this season. Todd Bertuzzi, Sami Salo and Richard Park each had one assist and Goaltender Alex Auld made 31 saves for the Canucks (9-2-0), who snapped a two-game skid.

Randy Robitaille scored the lone goal and Dwayne Roloson made 28 saves for Minnesota (6-6-0), which lost for the fifth time in six games.

The Wild, who out-shot the Canucks, 32-30, went 0-for-6 on the power play while Vancouver was 1-for-4.
